About the Foundation
The Coronado Arts Education Foundation is a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization whose stakeholders are passionate about supporting CoSA and arts education for school-aged children throughout the Coronado Unified School District and the community of Coronado.
Mission of the Foundation
The Foundation improves community awareness and raises and secures funds to perpetuate, improve and expand these arts experiences of CoSA, Coronado Unified School District and the community of Coronado as a whole. To fulfill this mission, the Foundation works to put in place an endowment large enough to meet the ongoing objectives of CoSA, and other student arts programs, by assuming the role as ambassadors of those programs to the arts community.
Goals of the Foundation
Include making the Coronado School of the Arts financially self-sufficient through an endowment and other annual fundraising activities; expanding its outreach to all qualified students in the San Diego region, including those who are disadvantaged or otherwise at-risk.
